Abstract
This contribution deals with scene reconstruction from a
hand-held multi-camera rig. We address specically the
problems that are associated with calibration and visualgeometric
reconstruction of complex scenes with occlusions
and view-dependent surfaces. The scene is then
represented by large sets of calibrated real viewpoints
with image texture and depth maps. Novel views are synthesized
from this representation with view-dependent
image-based rendering techniques at interactive rates.
